New BT Redcare Agile - Similar to RedCare GSM but lower cost*
BT Redcare has launched a new Grade 2 risk dual path alarm signalling service, BT Redcare Agile. Agile has been developed in response to feedback from installers and ARCs (Alarm Receiving Centres) and is targeted at residential and commercial customers who are rated Grade 2 security risk. These customers do not need Grade 4 level protection but want the extra security which dual path signalling provides, at an affordable cost* .
It is ideal for customers who currently have digital communicators, bells only alarm or no alarm system and want to enhance their security. If either the landline or radio path is lost the alarm system will signal over the remaining one. If your telephone line is vulnerable to sabotage or is simply out of service due to a fault then Redcare Agile will offer much needed protection - especially so with overhead lines. Agile can be used with ANY telephone line unlike Redcare GSM which must have a BT line.
Mark Chamberlain, marketing director, BT redcare, said: “The feedback we have had from our customers and the industry is that they are very happy with our Grade 4 risk products but they felt there was a gap in our portfolio. They wanted to see a Grade 2 risk dual path product, backed up with the quality of service and support which BT Redcare is known for. BT Redcare Agile meets these needs. It comes with the same standards of reliability, technical help and service as the rest of BT Redcare’s portfolio.
“BT Redcare Agile is a significant new addition to the Redcare family which complements our existing products and gives greater choice to the security industry. We are confident that BT Redcare Agile is an important new opportunity for ARCs and installers. What is more, it is easy to order and install, and it works on any land line, not just BT lines.”
* Approximately half the cost of RedCare GSM
