Alarm Monitoring in Bristol
Unless you live in an area where you can guarantee a neighbour's response to your alarm activating it makes good sense to have the system communicate with you.
Don't forget that if someone reports a ringing alarm, the Police will no longer attend without confirmation of a crime in progress. A properly installed alarm system with 24hr Monitoring will provide this confirmation electronically thus qualifying for Level 1 response which is the equivalent of dialling 999.
* Uses Dual Path Signalling. Recommended by Insurers this means that if the telephone line develops a fault or if it is deliberately cut - the alarm signal will still get through to the Alarm Receiving Centre as it is sent over the GPRS and or GSM mobile network. Also telephone line fails are reported to keyholders too.
In the unlikely event that both communication paths fail this is regarded as a Confirmed Alarm and Level 1 Police Response is invoked.
We highly recommend DualCom GPRS for flexibility and value for money. If you are on one of the older signalling types we may be able to save you money.
