We would be very pleased to take on the servicing of your fire alarm system.
Our normal ServiceCheck includes.....
- Testing the operation of the Control Panel
- The voltage, Ah capacity and resilience of the back-up batteries
- All smoke detectors activated with test gas
- All manual call points (break glass units)
We would need access to all apartments either with someone there with appropriate keys or the owners being present - for convenience we can make it the first call of the day from 8:30am.
If there is difficulty in getting all the flat owners together on a weekday we can arrange a Saturday morning first call for a modest out of hours fee.
The ServiceCheck is carried out to BS5839 and if the system meets the requirements and all detectors pass the simulated smoke test (using special test gas provided by us) a certificate valid for one year will be issued for display at the premises.
Any fails would be noted at the time and a quote given for repair/replacements.
Once you are "on the books" you then have access to our 24hr helpline for any
future faults you may have which we would be pleased to do on a chargeable basis.
If the flats are run by an internal management company we are quite happy to
send an invoice.
